Six permanently staffed health camps serving 24 densely populated, unplanned neighbourhoods of Kandahar
City, funded by UNICEF.
About this project
Kandahar City has grown rapidly through the arrival of returnees and internally displaced families, many of
whom live in unplanned settlements with no nearby health facility. This project established six fixed health

can reach basic health services on foot.
