- Managing 202 full-time staff in OPHCD payroll while 105 (52%) out of them are female staff.
- Managing & supporting 49 health clinics (38 fixed and 11 MHTs) in 16 provinces of the country.
- Completed 26 months post-graduate diploma level Community Midwifery Education Program for 24 vulnerable female students from isolated areas of the 8 provinces (Bamyan, Zabul, Ghazni, Noristan, Kundoz, Faryab, Badakhshan and Wardak) of the country.
- Reached to more than 410,000 <5 children and Pregnant & lactating women through Emergency Nutrition project for nomad
population with below breakdown:
- Screened 265,429 under 5-year children for examining their nutrition status.
- Screened 144,695 pregnant and lactating women (PLWs) for examining nutrition status.
- Treated 20,865 under 5-year SAM children
- Treated 28,676 under 5-year MAM children
- Treated 29,422 acute malnourished PLWs.
- Trained 168 staff of nomad HFs on IMAM, IYCF and Nutrition SOP
- Trained 205 nomad religious leaders on Nutrition
- Conducted half day orientation for 2018 nomad community influencers and HFs’ shura members.
- Conducted half day MUAC orientation training for 3710 nomad CBA and PLW women.
- Successfully implementation of “Prevention of blindness” program in 11 provinces of the country.
Through this program OPHCD:
- Examined & screened 25,244 Eye patients,
- Conducted 4,072 Cataract surgeries,
- Distributed 5,043 pairs of eye glasses to those with impaired vision, and
- 23,335 patients and their care-takers attended eye care awareness sessions.
- Conducted Capacity Building programs for OPHM and AYHDO staffs.
- Conducted Feasibility Study for establishment of Mobile health clinics in remote areas of Afghanistan with QRCS funding.
- Conducted end of Project Assessment from 10 Clinics managed by QRS in 2 provinces (Khost & Kundoz) of Afghanistan with QRCS fund
